Christmasy culture poll

Here's a question posed by Mrs. Popping Culture:

What band or solo musical artist would you most like to see release a Christmas album?

The only condition is that they must not have put out an album of Christmas music in the past. We came up with Beck and Chris Isaak.

Hmm. I would definitely agree that a Beck Christmas album would be good.

Otherwise, I'm not so sure. Ani DiFranco would be damn interesting, but I somehow doubt it would ever happen. A Radiohead Christmas album? That would really screw with my mind, I suspect.

Weezer. That might work.

Perhaps a Nine Inch Nails Christmas album for all those people contemplating suicide around the holidays.

Best rock n' roll Christmas song ever is "Father Christmas" by the Kinks. I saw Dave Davies do it live last July upon the request of me and my brother in law (grammar check). hehe. If we could find Ray Davies...

That's what I'm talking about. Many interesting bands or artists have done one-shot Christmas songs, but no pure album.

Sting did some good stuff a while back. I'd like to see more.
