When my son was in the fifth grade, a friend of his tried to induct him into the Pen Club.
"In the Pen Club, we all have names," says his friend. "I'm Pen14. See?" He lifts his sleeve to show his forearm with the requisite moniker inked in like a tatoo -- PEN14, in all-caps. "You'd be Pen15. Want to join the Pen Club?" Of course my son said yes.
Then he tried it on me when he got home. I fell for it too. Heh. "PEN15"

I suspect the whole "Pen Island" thing was set up as a joke, but it's fun to think, even for a moment, that someone would be dumb enough to name their ink store such a thing.
