Nelly did a song with Tim McGraw, too, and it actually works for the faster-paced country music.

Both have a tendency to rhyme whenever possible, are unafraid of having trite lyrics, and focus on rhythm and the flow of the music more than the meaning.

The two genres don't have the same culture associated with them, but they do have some things in common.
