Definitely should be getting at least some kind of look at them at E3, with probably the most detailed being the Xbox 2. That will be out for sale late this year--probably November. PS3 will likely hit in Japan next spring and then here in the U.S. in summer or fall 2006 and probably Nintendo's next one in fall 2006, as well.

I rarely play my Xbox anymore--or any games, for that matter--but I'm completely pumped for the Xbox 2. And I might just put down the money for it when it first hits, if I can afford it.

I'm completely pumped for this year's E3. It's going to be amazing.

Oh, and, hi Dan. Haven't been around much, though I have been reading the blog. Hope all is going as well as can be expected.

All is well, Joel. I have two more good, healthy days before chemo hits again.

It's going to feel funny deciding whether or not to invest in a new game system depending on CATscan results.

Heh. Yeah, that would be a bit strange. Perhaps you can make it a medical expense. Pick up Xbox 2 with Perfect Dark Zero and imagine all the bad guys you're blowing away as cancer cells. If you play your cards right and the cancer goes into remission, maybe you could get a commercial about it out of Microsoft, make some extra money.

"You too can be cancer free with the new Xbox!"
