Holiday Revenge

So I'm back on the big WW again today. I considered posting my weight on the site so you all can journey with me, but then I decided you can run your own journey. But, I will post some of my meals, in case you're interested.

1 1/4 cup Rice Krispies with 1/2 cup Skim Milk and coffee with 1/2 tbsp creamer for breakfast

n/a, I worked through

can (a whole can!) of Progresso chicken noodle soup and half a turkey sub from Subway

Not too bad! I did start to feel hungry about an hour ago, so I started drinking a big glass of water and that seems to have helped.

I also have my elliptical machine set up with access to the television so I can hop up on it when I'm watching TV.

Also, I'm continuing yoga this week. I'm not sure it's doing much for my body so far, but I do feel calmer and more relaxed.

Hi Stephanie,

I am Paula. Age 54. Retired English teacher. My husband Dan has created a blog about his cancer experience. I also write entries.

I have read every word of Popping Culture to date. Your Dan was an amazing man- mature beyond his years. I am sorry for your loss, Stephanie.

It sounds as if you are following your very strong urge to not just survive but thrive.

I, too, have packed on some pounds since cancer came to visit. I had formerly lost over 30 on WW.
I went back last Wednesday. I currently weigh 149.1 and had been down to 134. My goal is 130.

Good luck, girl.

I also want to thank you for your reply to my post about crying. You said that you set aside a time for this purpose each day. Me too now since you reminded me of its importance. I had forgotten.
Besides it is not something that I look forward to--kind of like exercise and writing down my food, but the end result keeps us healthy.

Every word of PC? That's a lot of words.

And I'm glad I helped you out. Trust me, it was inadvertent, but even a blind squirrel will find a nut once in a while.
