Moviegoers to Hollywood: 'Make it real'

I guess if I have a guilty pleasure, it is watching awards shows. I watch the Oscars, even if I haven't seen any of the movies and I watch the Grammys, even if not of my favorites are represented. Every year at Oscar time, however, I find myself lamenting the fact that that I either had no interest in any of the movies nominated or just didn't get around to seeing them. This year is different. I did see Crash (excellent) and I still want to see Walk the Line and Brokeback Mountain and wouldn't mind seeing Capote. For me, that's a step in the right direction, as defined by Hollywood, anyway.

This article made me think of these things.

Have any favorites out of these categories?
