These cats look just like Francis and Polly as kittens. Except that Polly doesn't give Francis the satisfaction of just sitting out in the open. He has to work for these opportunities.

Smart girl.

Today I googled 'chemo day one' and it led me to a January post by Dan. I read it, and gosh he was funny, strong and trying to make the best of his bad chemo situation. See, my sister was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer (with mets to axillary nodes) and I wanted to see how she would feel after her first chemo treatment. Which, is today. Dan's notes were great, I thought I'd follow them-so I can anticipate how my sweet sissy will feel. But, when I clicked on the following month-no notes from Dan. I searched back to February and seen a note "it's been six months since Dan passed" and I cried, a lot! I read his note from January 2005. I was off my a year! Of course, I went back and read most of his posts since that January 2005 post. He really seems like he was a great guy! I just wanted you to know-that even after all this time-he still touches people. I wish my sister had half his zeal for life, or even an ounce of his confident humor. Thanks for your site!

God be with your sister, Julie, and with you as you walk with her. I'll pray for her as she deals with her first day of chemo

Glad you found the site, Julie. Dan was a great guy and I know that many of people learned a lot from him. It's nice to know people are still learning, even after almost a year.
